In Chuka Igambang’ombe, the Mukui-Uri-Mbugi scheme is projected to support another 300 farmers, while the Tharaka Nithi Cluster 1 irrigation project will cover over 443 acres. Collectively, these initiatives are being praised for enhancing food security, boosting productivity, and empowering local farmers.
While many see the projects as proof of meaningful progress, others raise questions about their sustainability and long-term impact on livelihoods. Still, the online momentum reflects growing optimism around County 013’s agricultural future.
