(In Nigeria) Lagos Task Force Clears Mile 2 of Illegal Stores and Street Traders to Restore Order

In a decisive move to restore order, the Lagos State Task Force dismantled illegal stores and evicted street traders at 2nd Rainbow Junction, inward Mile 2. The operation targeted activities that were causing traffic congestion, endangering pedestrians, and littering the environment, according to Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab.

The enforcement action underscores Lagos State’s commitment to ensuring safe, clean, and unobstructed roads while maintaining zero tolerance for environmental violations. Authorities emphasized that street trading at major junctions disrupts vehicle flow and poses significant safety risks to both traders and pedestrians.
