Media personality Afia Schwarzenegger is facing a GH₵10 million defamation lawsuit filed by Goldbod CEO, Sammy Gyamfi, over claims he describes as false, malicious, and damaging to his reputation.
According to court documents, Afia allegedly stated that Gyamfi had purchased a property in the United States for either his wife or her sister—an allegation Gyamfi says is entirely unfounded. He insists that the claims were not only baseless but also intentionally designed to mislead the public and damage his personal and professional standing.

The lawsuit argues that Afia Schwarzenegger’s public statements were made recklessly, without regard for the truth, and with the clear intent to subject Gyamfi to public ridicule and suspicion. He further asserts that her actions have caused significant harm to his character and standing as a business leader.
Gyamfi also contends that the statements have led members of the public to view him as a morally compromised and corrupt individual, which could have long-lasting effects on both his business interests and social image.
In seeking GH₵10 million in damages, Gyamfi is demanding accountability for what he considers a deliberate attack on his integrity. Afia Schwarzenegger has not publicly responded to the lawsuit as of the time of this report, but the case is expected to draw significant media attention as it progresses through the courts.
