Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has officially announced Rapperholic: The Homecoming, a major music festival scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
This highly anticipated event marks a significant milestone in Sarkodie’s career, as it will be the first time the Rapperholic brand—traditionally held in Accra—makes its way to the Ashanti regional capital. The festival aims to celebrate Sarkodie’s roots while creating a memorable experience for fans in Kumasi and beyond.
The rapper received royal backing for the concert during his courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace on Friday, July 18, 2025, where he obtained formal permission to host the event in the city. The endorsement by the Asantehene and his council underscores the cultural significance of the event and adds to the anticipation surrounding it.
