Nere Tereba is a 38 year old woman who has achieved the huge feat of being the youngest woman to refine gold in Nigeria. With a background in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon, Nere presently serves as the Vice President of Kian Smith Trade & Co. She has worked for sustainable community solutions in several countries. The firm, Kian Smith Trade & Co. broke ground in 2018 as the country's first gold refinery.
