Leah Sharibu Forced to Marry Boko Haram Commanders, Has Two Kids

Leah Sharibu, a Christian girl from Yobe State who was kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists in 2018, has reportedly married two Boko Haram leaders, including Ali Abdallah, who is now a chief judge of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in the Lake Chad basin.

According to a "repentant" Boko Haram fighter, Sharibu was first married to Abdulrahman after converting to Islam and had a baby boy, but her husband was killed in an air raid. She then remarried Ali Abdallah and had a baby girl.

As stated by the Boko Haram ex-fighter, "Leah was first married to Abdulrahman after she converted to Islam and they had one child, a baby boy. Her husband was killed in an air raid after which she remarried a top commander, Ali Abdallah to whom she bore a baby girl."

The former Boko Haram fighter, who now works to convince former comrades to abandon terrorism, revealed that Sharibu's husband, Abdallah, was recently appointed Chief Judge of the terror group in the Lake Chad basin.
