Mastodon Guitarist Brent Hinds Dies at 51 in Motorcycle Accident

 


Brent Hinds, former lead guitarist of the Atlanta-based heavy metal band Mastodon, has died at the age of 51 following a traffic accident in Atlanta, Georgia.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, when Hinds was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. According to reports, a BMW SUV failed to yield while making a turn at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Boulevard, leading to the fatal collision.
