(In Kenya) Protests Turn Violent: Gaucho Accused of Hiring Goons to Disrupt Peaceful Demonstrations

 

Gaucho is making waves in Kenya because a video shows him masked and armed, confronting peaceful protesters during unrest in Nairobi’s CBD on June 12, 2025. 

He is accused of working under ODM leader Raila Odinga and PS Raymond Omollo to sabotage the JusticeForAlbertOjwang protests. He was said to have hired goons from Kibera to burn cars and provoke violence, but the plan reportedly failed.

The footage captured at 3:16 PM depicts Gaucho attacking demonstrators who had sought shelter in a restaurant. 

He is believed to have close ties with Raila Odinga, often traveling in his helicopter, and is employed by Raymond Omollo, previously linked to the deadly June 2024 Gen Z crackdown.
