Burned Vehicles Spark Outrage: Kenyans Accuse Government of Manipulation

KAR 936D was among two suspicious vehicles burned during protests in Nairobi’s CBD. Investigations reveal the number plate was erased from NTSA records in 2017 and belonged to a 2006 Isuzu lorry.

The second, KBR 954G, tied to a Narok Line PSV, was delisted in 2020. Kenyans suspect these vehicles were planted to discredit peaceful demonstrators as terrorists.

Public NTSA records confirm that KAR 936D and KBR 954G are no longer registered, raising concerns of manipulation.

The Isuzu and Toyota Hiace were last inspected in 2017 and 2020 respectively, and transported to Nairobi for unclear reasons.

This has fueled outrage online, with many accusing the government of staging chaos to suppress dissent. Kenyans vow not to be intimidated. The push for justice gains momentum.
