Sizekhaya Holdings has been awarded the licence to operate the National Lotteries and Sports Pool.
Of the total number of eight companies that vied for the operational rights, Sizekhaya Holdings led by businessmen Moses Tembe and Sandile Zungu, obtained the licence after a contentious bidding process.

With the operational licence, Sizekhaya Holdings becomes the fourth national lottery and sports pool license holder in South Africa.
It replaces Ithuba Holdings, which has held the licence since 2015.
