Video: Mercy Chinwo and Husband Offer Scholarships to UNIPORT Students

 Gospel minister Mercy Chinwo and her husband pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have through their charity foundation  and during a visit to the University of Port Harcourt, announced their intentions to offer total  scholarships to 50 students of the university. Speaking to the excited crowd, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa stated that the details of the scholarship(on offered on the couple and their son's behalf) as well as required processes, would be undertaken by the couple's joint foundation, Mercy Blessed Foundation.

Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in August 2022 and welcomed their son, Charis Nduka Blessed in October 2023. Mercy Chinwo who grew up in Port Harcourt, won the Nigerian Idol season 2 in the year 2012 and released her first single "Testimony" in 2015. Her husband Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa is the resident pastor at WaterBrook church, Lagos. Singer and politician Bankole Wellington AKA Banky W, is also a preacher at the church.
