An unnamed teenager has reportedly murdered and harvested the vital organs of a two year old toddler in Ikang Town Community of the Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State. According to reports, the gruesome murder of the two year old who belonged to the accused's neighbour, occurred on Friday 26th April 2024 at about 2:00pm. A video of the dead baby with missing internal organs allegedly circulated the internet after the discovery.
Narrating the incident, an anonymous eyewitness revealed that the mother of the two year old had been in the habit of leaving her baby in a laundry shop where the teenage neighbour worked so she could go o about her daily business. On the day her child was butchered, she had returned to find the toddler missing and had gained entry into the laundromat where upon thorough search, she had discovered her son's lifelessly wrapped in a pile of bloodied clothes, the shocked mother's screams had alerted passers-by who found a knife near the pile of clothes in which her child's mutilated remains had been wrapped.

The ensuing uproar led to the capture of the fleeing teenager who had been babysitting the butchered toddler. Despite beatings and several hours of interrogation, the teenager refused to give details of the incident had was subsequently handed over to the police who in turn promised the grieving mother and disturbed community a thorough investigation into the murder and harvested organs of the two year old.
