Nollywood Actor Zack Orji Hospitalized in Critical Condition

Veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji, has reportedly been hospitalized at the intensive care unit of The National Hospital, Abuja. Confirming the news, President of The Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas, stated that the sixty-three year old thespian slumped in the restroom at his home two days ago and was rushed unconscious to the hospital. Further reports state that he's in a comatose state with medical personnel running various tests to ascertain the true cause of his critical condition.

Known for his many roles in Nollywood, Zack Orji started his acting career in 1991. In 2000, he made his directorial debut with the movie titled WEB starring himself and Ghanaian actress, Kalsoume Sinare. The movie won best collaborative film in the Ghana awards of 2001. He is married to Ngozi Obasi, with whom he has three children. During the 2022 electoral campaign, Zack publicly declared support the APC's presidential candidate and eventual winner of the February 2023 election, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while his wife Ngozi, openly declared support for the Labour Party's presidential aspirant, Mr Peter Obi.
