18 Years After: Plane Crash Survivor Pays Tribute to Lost Souls

 Nigerian singer, motivational speaker and of the two survivors of the December 2005 Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 crash, Kechi Okwuchi, has paid tribute to her 59 schoolmates who lost their lives in the tragic crash that claimed 107 people. In a post on her official social media handles, Kechi who survived the December 10 crash suffered sixty- five per cent third degree burns all over her body, asked her deceased schoolmates to keep watching over her and the one other survivor, as she makes more memories for them.

 Eighteen years ago,(on 10 December2005) Kechi Okwuchi had been one of the 60 students of Loyola Jesuit College who had who had been aboard the plane travelling from Abuja to Port-Harcourt for the holidays when it crashed and killed 107 passengers aboard. Kechi Okwuchi who was the only survivor of the 60 students from her school, underwent over a hundred reconstructive surgeries.
