Late President Yar'Adua's Son Marries Second Wife

 Ibrahim Yar'Adua, son of deceased president Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, has taken a second wife. The late president's son married Amira, who is the daughter of former Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede, in a ceremony(Fatiha) which held on Friday 20th October, 2023. The groom married his first wife Saratu Sodangi, a lawyer, in 2018.

Ibrahim is the son of Turai and Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, deceased president and former first lady of Nigeria. His father was president of the country from 29th May 2007 until his death on 5th May 2010 at the age of 58. Ibrahim's sister, Zainab Usman Saidu Dakingari who is a former first lady of Kebbi state, is the third wife of  former Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Usman Saidu Nasamu Dakingari.
