What I discussed with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu - Okonji Iweala

The Director of World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonji Iweala met with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Aso Rock, yesterday, August 9th, 2023.

The meeting of the duo sparked rumour as whether the Nigeria's president is wooing the former minister of finance to join his cabinet necessary to utilize her rich experience in stabilizing  Nigeria's wobbly economy.

Recall also that there was social media frenzy over Okonji Iweala intentionally snubbing president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in France during France and African leaders submit. 

Through her Twitter handle, Okonji Iweala confirmed that she met with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to discuss how the current economic hardship can be alleviated through job creation as well as the support of the World Trade Organization.
