Lord's Chosen Founder Lazarus Muoka Loses Second Wife

 Founder and General Overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Lazarus Muoka has lost his second wife, Joy Muoka, to the cold hands of death. Even though there's yet to be official confirmation from the pastor or the church, reports state that Mrs Muoka died on Sunday 9 July, 2023. The General Overseer is a second-time widower as he had previously suffered the loss of his first wife, a couple of years before his marriage to the now deceased second wife, Mrs Joy Muoka. The cause of Mrs Muoka's death is currently unknown to the public.

The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement (popularly called The Lord's Chosen) is a Nigerian Christian megachurch founded by Lazarus Muoka. The church which has its headquarters located along the Oshodi - Apapa Expressway in Surulere local government area of Lagos State started with a few people and went on to experience rapid growth with over 300,000 branches all over the world. The church has been the subject of many controversies, especially in relation to their General Overseer's claims of conducting miracles and repeatedly healing the sick. Many members of the church have also been accused of giving exaggerated or outrightly false "testimonies".
