BREAKING: Nollywood veteran, Cynthia Okereke is dead

 Nollywood actress, Cynthia Nkiru Okereke is no more.

The ebbulient Thespian was reported dead last night after she passed on in her sleep.

Late Okereke was aged 63.

It would be recalled that the veteran was kidnapped sometime last year in Enugu state. 

Cynthia Okereke joined the Nigerian movie industry in 1998 and starred in classic 'Jaja of Opobo, a film that propelled her to the top of her career.

She became more widely known in 2003 after she stared in "Osuofia in London", a popular movie that had Nkem Owoh as the lead actor.

She is survived by her husband and children.
