Veteran Actor "Fadeyi Oloro" is Dead

 Veteran Yoruba actor Ojo Arowosafe better known as "Fadeyi Oloro", has died. The actor passed away on the evening of 7th March 2023, after a protracted illness that lasted over three years. The news of Fadeyi Oloro's death was broken to the public by his daughter, Bidemi Olufunke Fasunwon. A month before Fadeyi's death, Bidemi had solicited financial support for her father's health care. She had revealed in an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze that her father had been diagnosed with kidney problems amongst other health conditions.

Ojo Arowosafe gained popularity and earned the nickname which overshadowed his real name after he played the role of "Fadeyi Oloro" in a Yoruba TV series titled "Arelu" which aired in 1986. He became famous for consistently playing roles of villains and sorcerers(babalawo) for most his career. He was also known for his cosmetically darkened facial skin. Fadeyi Oloro passed away at the age of 66 and prior to this announcement of his death, there had been a number of previous false information regarding the actor's death.
