BRT Driver Andrew Ominikoron has been sentenced to death by hanging for the February 2022 murder of 22 year old Bamise Ayanwola.
The 50 year old BRT driver who faced five count charges of rape, conspiracy to commit felony and murder, was handed capital punishment on Friday 2nd May, by Justice Serifat Sonaike of The Lagos State High Court.

The prosection also presented evidence that in addition to Bamise's murder, Andrew Ominikoron previously assaulted a medical doctor named Victoria Anosike and raped raped another victim, Maryland Ojiezelu in circumstances similar to the manner he assaulted and murdered Bamise.
