Ex-CAN President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor Divorces Wife

 Founding and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, Ayodele Joseph Oritsegbubemi Oritsejafor, better known as Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, has reportedly gotten divorced from wife, Helen Oritsejafor after 25 years of married. The reports further allege that the pastor and his wife got divorced over a misunderstanding that has lingered for years. Yet others claim that Helen Oritsejafor has been involved in an extra marital affair with another man for years. Some others insist that Ayo Oritsejafor had been a victim of domestic violence at the hands of his ex-wife for a long time.

Helen reportedly moved out of the former couple's shared home and relocated to Britain with the kids and Pastor Oritsejafor has moved back to the house after abandoning it for over a year. Helen and Ayo Oritsejafor have three children (triplets) together  after several years of infertility. Ayo Oritsejafor married Helen in 1997, exactly 13 months after Stella, his first wife died from complications related to diabetes.

 In 2010, Oritsejafor was elected President of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), the apex body of all Christians in the country. In doing so he became the first Pentecostal leader to hold the position. He held the position until 2016 when he was succeeded by Supo Ayokunle, who is currently serving a second term.
