Nigerians Lambast Davido Over His Controversial Comment On Wizkid's Grammy Award Loss

 Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke otherwise known as Davido has been criticized for his alleged unsportsmanlike comment following Wizkid loss at the Grammy Awards.

Wizkid who was nominated for two different awards lost both to other nominees.

As Wizkid's fans cry foul over the music superstar's inability win any of the awards he was nominated for, his country man and perceived rival for the unofficial Nigerian Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T), took to his Twitter handle to make a taunting tweet which many suspect is aimed at Wizkid.

"E choke !!!" He tweeted. A catchphrase he often used to taunt his perceived rivals or whenever he accomplished a feat.

Recall that a few days ago, Davido unfollowed Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide and other top Nigerian musicians over their failure to congratulate him on his inclusion in the FIFA 2022 World Cup Official soundtrack, titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ meaning ‘Better Together’, alongside with other foreign artistes such as Trinidad Cardona and AISHA.
