In the clip, Adeboye appealed for 10 members—whom he referred to as “his children”—to each donate ₦100 billion, and another 100 members to give ₦100 million each. While the video did not specify the purpose of the funds, some RCCG members have defended the appeal, saying the donations were intended to support a major church project. The request has since ignited widespread debate online.
