Crazy Experience (part 2)

Crazy Experience (part 2) “The Ghost in Room 408” One weekend, I decided to take a solo trip to a quiet, historical town. I booked a room in this old colonial-style hotel that had been standing since the 1800s. The staff gave me Room 408, a quaint, slightly creaky space with floral wallpaper, an old writing desk, and a massive mirror above the bed. It looked like something out of an old movie. I loved it. The first night was peaceful until 3:14 a.m.

I woke up to the sound of shuffling. I thought maybe I forgot to lock the door. As I got up to check, I saw something move in the mirror. I froze. My body was still, but my reflection tilted its head... and smiled at me. My heart did a backflip. I turned around quickly,no one. The room was still. But when I looked back at the mirror, my reflection was still smiling. I ran out of the room in just my T-shirt and socks, bolted down to the lobby, and refused to go back up.

The front desk guy didn’t look shocked. He just sighed and said, "Room 408? Yeah… she likes to play with people who travel alone." I slept on a lobby couch with the lights on. The next morning, I checked out and didn’t ask a single question. Till today, I don’t know what I saw or who “she” was but I’ve never booked Room 408 again. And I never travel alone anymore.
