On Easter Sunday, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy delivered a heartfelt message to Ukrainians, urging them to hold onto hope and perseverance in the face of ongoing conflict.
Standing in front of Kyiv's Saint Sophia Cathedral, wearing a traditional Ukrainian vyshyvanka embroidered shirt, Zelenskiy emphasized that Ukraine's faith in each other and in their collective strength remains unshaken. "Evil may have its hour, but God will have his day," he said, conveying a powerful message of resilience and determination.

Despite Russian President Vladimir Putin's announcement of a one-day Easter ceasefire, Zelenskiy noted that Russian forces continued to engage in hostilities, attempting to inflict losses on Ukraine.
However, Zelenskiy remained steadfast, affirming that Ukrainians know what they are defending and fighting for. He expressed faith that a day of peace will come, and Ukrainians will gather together once more to celebrate a peaceful Easter, free from the shadows of war.
