NAFDAC is investigating Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries, led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, for allegedly selling unregistered "miracle water" and "miracle soap" products while falsely claiming they're registered with the agency . These products are advertised to have healing properties, but NAFDAC warns they may be harmful.
The Issue:
NAFDAC's Director-General, Mojisola Adeyeye, stated that the ministry is falsely using NAFDAC's name to deceive the public. The products, including "Miracle Water" and "Miracle Soap," are not registered with NAFDAC, and the agency has warned Nigerians to avoid using them .Concerned citizens petitioned NAFDAC about Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto's ministry selling these products to unsuspecting members of the public. NAFDAC's Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, stated that none of these products are registered with the agency, and their use should be avoided .
Investigation Findings:
During NAFDAC's investigation, officials visited the ministry's site and purchased the "miracle water" for ₦3,000. However, the ministry's officials denied producing the water and soap, claiming they only had a pool of Bethsaida water for spiritual purposes .The agency urges Nigerians to cease purchasing or using these products, as they may be unwholesome and harmful . NAFDAC is now probing Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries for the illegal production, sale, and advertisement of these unregistered products .
Action Taken:
NAFDAC sealed Globod Table Water's factory for aiding in the production and sale of unregistered and unwholesome products. The agency will continue investigating the ministry's activities regarding products within their mandates .
It's essential to verify the authenticity of products, especially those claiming miraculous healing properties, and be cautious of false advertisements. Always check for NAFDAC registration before purchasing any products.
