Veteran Fuji musician Abass Akande Obesere, also known as Omo Rapala, recently underwent a life-threatening surgery and has thankfully survived. He shared a photo from his hospital bed on Instagram, expressing gratitude to God for his survival. Obesere's fans and fellow celebrities, including Yinka Quadri, KS1 Malaika, Salawa Abeni, and Desola Afod, quickly responded with well-wishes and prayers for his recovery.

It's wonderful to see the outpouring of support for Obesere, a renowned Nigerian artist known for his unique Fuji music style. His music career has been marked by a long-standing rivalry with K1 De Ultimate, and he's released several popular tracks, including "Jaforie" and "Egungun (Be Careful)".
