Peter Obi Pays Condolence Visit to Junior Pope's Family

 One day after Nollywood actor Junior Pope Odonwodo was laid to rest in his hometown of Ukehe located in the Nsukkaa Local Government Area of Enugu state, former governor of Anambra state and the Labour Party's presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi, has paid a condolence visit to his bereaved family. The former presidential candidate signed the condolence register in the family home on Saturday, 18 May, 2024, and took photos with Junior Pope's widow and children.

 The photos of Mr Peter Obi paying a condolence visit to the Odonwodo family were shared on social media by Nollywood actor, lawyer and former spokesperson of The Labour Party presidential campaign council, Mr Kenneth Okonkwo. The photos were accompanied by the caption: "HE Peter Obi arrived at the residence of John Paul Odonwodo, Junior Pope, to pay his condolences to his family over the sad, and untimely departure of their child, brother, husband, and father. He consoled his mother, Mrs Maria Odonwodo, the widow, Jennifer, and his children.”
