Following the recent exhumation of deceased rising music star Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba professionally known as Mohbad, and the the subsequent completion of the autopsy to determine his exact cause of death, Nollywood actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo who steered the police into conducting an investigation into his sudden and controversial death, have stated that plans are in progress to give Mohbad a befitting funeral. The singer who died on 12 September 2023 was buried a day after in a rather hasty manner at an old farm in Ikorodu, Lagos.

Speaking on Instagram live, Iyabo Ojo revealed that they were doing everything could to give Mohbad a decent and befitting funeral this time around. Tonto Dikeh also stated that the CEO of the funeral home(Ebony Vaults) where they had gone to purchase the casket, was a huge fan of the deceased singer and had generously offered a free casket as well as other funeral accoutrements like the wreaths and pall bearers. The CEO also gave a discount on payment for the intended vault for Mohbad's interment.
