Nancy Isime Receives Honorary Doctorate from Prowess University, USA

Nollywood actor Nancy Isime has received an honorary doctorate in Arts and Philosophy from Prowess University, located in Delaware USA. Nancy Isime made this revelation on her social media platform while stating that the honorary doctorate from the University was given to her in conjunction with Leadtimes Africa Magazine. The actor also penned that she had simultaneously received the Leadtime Africa Leadership prize for Quality Service Delivery and Professionalism.

With the conferment of this doctorate degree, Nancy Isime joins a list of Nigerian celebrities who have previously received honorary doctorates from universities across the world. Other Nollywood colleagues who have bagged honorary doctorates include: Adesua Etomi-Wellington, who received an honorary doctorate from her alma mater, University of Wolverhampton, England, in September 2022. Veteran star, Iretiola Doyle, was also conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by the Institut Superieur de Communication et de Gestion University in Benin Republic, in 2022.
