Video:Netizens Troll Tony Elumelu for Welcoming Tinubu At His Residence

 Chairman of United Bank of Africa(UBA) Tony Elumelu, has received trolling from netizens after he posted photos and videos of himself welcoming Bola Ahmed Tinubu, winner of the recently conducted presidential election and president-elect to his residence. The Bank Chairman who praised Tinubu as the "last man standing" upon arrival at his residence, stated in a post on his official Instagram account that he received Tinubu at his home and they "discussed ways in which the incoming administration must empower and support our immensely talented Nigerian youth".

Netizens reacted harshly to Tony Elumelu's tweet which had a photo of the bank chairman and president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu attached. The post garnered comments ranging from outright disapproval to threats of netizens intending to close their accounts with UBA immediately. Some netizens boldly told Tony Elumelu that he ought to be ashamed of himself while also stating that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is "INEC Select" and not Nigeria's president elect. They further threw digs at the unstable transaction services provided by Tony Elumelu's UBA.
