Amid the raging fuel scarcity, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has ordered petrol stations to stop selling fuel to Nigerians over the association's unresolved issue with the Nigeria's authority.
According to a circular the Exola Tv obtained and which was issued on the 6th of February, 2023, the association complained about their inability to abide by the selling price that the Nigeria's authority has imposed on them. The group explains that it will not continue to sell at lost price to Nigerians; hence, urges filling stations across the country to suspend selling of petrol to Nigerians.

For over five months, the Nigerian populace have been grappling with fuel scarcity with no sight of it ending soon. Consequently, pump prices have skyrocketed as a litter of fuel is being sold for a thousand naira in some part of the country.
