EU Rubbishes Nigeria's Presidential Election

European Union Election Observers to Nigeria have expressed displeasure at the Nigeria's presidential election which held on February 25th, 2023.

In a preliminary report released by the body, it claimed that the 2023 Nigeria Presidential Election lacks transparency and that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has failed in its operations.

In a similar manner, the U.S Observers had earlier released a similar report which discredited the yet to be concluded Nigeria's presidential election.

Also, the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council has in a press release, condemned the procedural negligence of INEC in its conduct of the presidential election. Labour Party urges INEC to cancel the presidential election and organize a new one.

Recall that some opposition party agents led by senator Dino Melaye of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) had stormed out of the National Collation Centre, Abuja, over INEC blatant disregard for its stipulated rule of engagement.
