Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has posted a tweet sending a message to the Ooni of Ife. The actress who put up a photoshopped image of herself seductively staring at the monarch, posted that she wants the monarch to know that she's patiently waiting for her turn and also thanked him in advance. The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has gathered widespread attention and sometimes mockery for his serial polygamy. After his marriage to prophetess Naomi Silekunola failed in December 2021, the Ooni of Ife has since married 5 more women in less than two months.

Nkechi Blessing Sunday is well-known on the streets of social media for her often controversial lifestyle and has been in the news a great deal following the messy break up of her public relationship with ex-lover and politician, Opeyemi David Falegan. The pair had hitherto to their messy separation led the public to believe that they were husband and wife. Nkechi Blessing Sunday only confessed that they had never gotten married after the separation became publicly messy.
