Comedian Buchi Separates From Wife Over Alleged Violence

Popular comedian Onyebuchi Ojieh, identified by the mononym Buchi, has reportedly separated from his wife Rukky Isede, as a result of recurring incidents of domestic violence meted on Buchi by Rukky. Reports reveal that Rukky moved out of their shared home after a violent public fighting match with her husband. The reports further state that Rukky is well-known around the now separated couple's estate for her violent nature towards her husband. Rukky's relatives are supposedly currently intervening in the couple's marital issue.

Stories of Rukky's violent acts towards Buchi and other people first surfaced in 2021 when it was reported that she had been arrested for vandalisation and assaulting estate operatives by the police. Buchi however, debunked the news on social media claiming that the allegations were lies. Buchi and Rukky got married in 2017 and have two children together.

Onyebuchi Ojieh is a comedian, composer, writer, and actor from Kwale, Delta State, Nigeria who began his comic career in 2008. Buchi has performed alongside other comedians, such as I Go Dye, I Go Save, Basketmouth, and Bovi, among others.
