Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri who since Peter Obi's emergence as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party has been antagonizing Peter Obi and his supporters.
Reno Omokri through his social media accounts compared Peter Obi's supporters to the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
A petition was also launched against Reno Omokri which demanded that his social media accounts be restricted over his religious and ethnic incitive posts to discredit the candidacy of Mr. Peter Obi.
In his defense, Reno Omokri stated that his antagonizing Peter Obi and his supporters is due to a threat to his one-year-old daughter whom he claimed received a death threat from Peter Obi's supporters.
Interestingly, Reno Omokri has revealed that he will no longer attack Peter Obi nor his supporters. According to him, a mutual friend to him and Mr. Peter Obi has mediated between them. He however warned that a repeat of such a threat to his one year old daughter will be reciprocated.

"A mutual friend of Peter Obi and I intervened between us. I respect him so much and agreed to accede to his request to remain neutral on Peter. I have kept to my words. But if any obidients threatens or attacks my one year old daughter, then to your tents o Israel!"
