Video: Will Smith Apologises to Chris Rock

 Three month after the Slap Award received by Chris Rock at the Oscars, Will Smith has released a video apologising to Chris Rock for slapping him. He also answered a few questions he had been receiving regarding the aftermath of his action in the video. It will be recalled that Will Smith walked up to the stage and gave a resounding slap to Chris Rock after he made joke about Jada Pinkett-Smith's bald head. Will Smith considered the joke offensive and in a bid to defend his wife, he slapped the comedian.

In the video, Will Smith gave a heartfelt apology to the Rock family. He specifically cited Tony Rock with whom he claimed to have had a great relationship. Will Smith also stated that he had made attempts to apologise to Chris Rock for his action. Chris Rock however revealed that he wasn't ready to hear an apology. Will Smith still maintained that he was available to talk whenever Chris was ready.
