Video: Watch How Nigerian Athlete, Tobi Amosun Broke World Record On 100m Hurdle Race

 The Nigeria's national anthem was once more sung gloriously at the global stage while Nigeria itself echoed loudly across continents of the world; this is because, Tobi Amusan made it so.

The Nigerian born Athlete made Nigerians proud and reignited hope in millions of Nigerians who at present, have a little to be proud about their country.

Tobi Amusan, shone at the global stage when she broke the world's record on 100m hurdle race at the World Athletes Championship.

She set an incredible record by finishing at 12.12 seconds in the 100m hurdle race.

  1. It was a very impressive feat.

    For the records, the old record was broken by her in the semi final of the same competition where she ran 12.12 seconds earlier that evening making her the world record holder of the 100m women hurdles and which qualified her for the final. In the final however, she broke the same record again running 12.06 seconds laying the rumour to rest that the first record was a fluke and that she could not do it again. However, this was not to be due to the fact that it was wind-aided. What a reason!

    The last best time record was held by Kendra Harrison 12.20 in 2016, while the most recent best time of 12.26 seconds was held by Jasmine Camacho-Quinn in 2021.
