Singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has revealed that the All Progressive Congress (APC) paid him to support the campaign of presidential aspirant Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In a video making the rounds on social media, the street pop musician declared that he was paid for the job and he intends to do it boldly.
Harsh criticisms followed the singer's revelation and the All Progressive Congress has been labelled a party of louts who obviously had to find their like to do their job. In response to the backlash, the singer released a video saying he sings a tune for the highest bidder. After all, he was once paid to insult Tinubu during the protests. He maintained again that he was merely doing the job he was paid to do.

The All Progressive Congress has neither denied nor affirmed the singer's claim of being on their payroll. Nigerians have however declared that there is no need for an affirmation or denial as the party has been indeed trying so hard to buy public support through various means.
