Former Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola has reaped one of the dividends of being a bad leader.
Aregbesola who is a former governor of Osun State and current Federal Government minister of Interior was given an unwelcoming treat by a Nigerian in the United States of America where supposedly he was holidaying, enjoying the peace and tranquility of America which his home country lacks.
The ex-governor was forced to abandon his meal at a cafe following his inability to persuade an unyielding Nigerian from filming his strangely humble self which was in blatant contradiction to his ostentatious and brouhaha lifestyle that characterize his class in Nigeria.
Interestingly, the Nigerian man kept repeating to the angry Aregbesola " this is not Nigeria. This is America. This is a free country", a reflection of the lawlessness the Nigerian leaders are notorious for and their above the law status as well.
Nigerian Politicians are intently wary of their citizens in developed countries, citizens who are incapacitated in their home country by the elite-friendly laws that make it impossible for them to hold their near-god leaders accountable.
However, these helpless citizens feel prouder and safer in other countries where they incessantly vent their wrath at their now helpless hitherto unassailable leaders.
