The Osun state governorship election is no longer in weeks but in days. One major contender in the governorship race is Senator Isiaka Adeleke who was first runner-up in Osun State 2018 election.
As the Osun indigenes prepare to visit the polling booths, David Adeleke whose uncle is Isiaka Adeleke did not disappoint his uncle fondly known as "Imole" across the country.
Davido's gloriously entry to Osun state is remarkable as it did not go unnoticed by the Osun indigenes who excitedly trooped out in mass to accord him the needed respect of a worthy son.

However, his critics have argued that such a show of force ends in futility as celebrity status differs from Political influence. They accused him of being desperate to ensure that his uncle emerges the governor of the state while he has no social project to his name in the state.
According to his critics, a public figure of Davido's status who is globally recognized should rely on his community social investment to publicize his political interest rather than venturing into the streets to make empty promises.
