Video: Dancing Senator Ademola Adeleke and Nephew Davido, Rejoice over Unofficial Reports of Victory at the Osun Polls

The People's Democratic Party's(PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke aka The Dancing Senator has expressed jubilation at the ongoing collation of the electoral votes at the Osun state gubernatorial polls. In a video that surfaced online, the PDP can be seen accepting heartfelt hugs and congratulations from nephew David Adeleke better known as Davido. Davido in company of other PDP stakeholders enthusiastically congratulate the gubernatorial candidate over his seemingly overwhelming victory at the polls. The victory is all the more worthwhile as Mr Adeleke's strong contender is incumbent governor of the state, Adegboyega Oyetola.

Reports from the Osun state polls have it that Senator Ademola Adeleke is leading with over 10,000 votes. The portal also showed that over 87% of the results have been uploaded with PDP maintaining a lead in over 7 LGAs. While thanking the people of Osun State for endorsing Ademola Adeleke’s governorship bid, PDP sternly advised against any attempt to tamper with the result of the election. Many Nigerians will recall that after widespread speculation of victory in 2018, Senator Adeleke lost the election to APC'S gubernatorial candidate and incumbent, Adegboyega Oyetola. Many Nigerians have expressed optimism that this time, the electoral results will be in transparent in favour of the dancing senator.
