The presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi's reputation has continued to soar especially among the Nigerian youths.
However, the latest allegation from controversial pastor and former special assistant to ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri, is concerning.
Reno Omokri through his Twitter handle accused Peter Obi of engaging in an act considered "Haram" by the northern Muslims who might not vote for him as a result.
Reno Omokri who has been campaigning for the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar said that Peter Obi shot himself in the leg by claiming that he invested hundred million US dollars in SAMBILLER brewery.
According to Reno Omokri, Peter Obi did not only lie about the investment but also pitched himself against the northern Muslims who see alcohol as "Haram" and would not want to vote for a president who likes what they forbid.
"One of the biggest mistakes Peter Obi made is bringing up his SABMIller investment. Not only was it an unnecessary lie (his investment did not grow to $100 million), it shows he doesn’t understand the North. Beer is haram to Muslim Northerners and works against him!” He tweeted

I guess you tired of UK, its never like Nigeria public service where cashing out is imminent, thus the need to join Atiku's train, as easy come back.Why not visit during Bubu, ooh man on exile? If you want to criticise Peter Obi, let it be issue based not about investment in breweries. Normally, in a developed society there's freedom of association. If you like or not drink alcohol.in a nutshell, is alcohol the problem of Nigeria? Is the citizens not consuming more intoxicating substances than alcohol? Example, burukutu, solution, drugs of all kinds? Stop the division between religion and regions rather be issue based.
