Star of the Netflix series King of Boys, actor Sola Sobowale tweeted on 13 July, 2022 that she was excited to announce her next project with director and producer Hamisha Daryani Ahuja. Ms Daryani made her directorial debut with the Nollywood-Bollywood cross-cultural film Namaste Wahala starring Ini Dima-Okojie.
Sola Sobowale revealed that she would be going to India to film the upcoming project and would also be playing a dynamic role in it. The King of Boys actor first gained recognition in the year 2001 when she acted in the television series Super Story : Oh Father Oh Daughter. The actor however gained mainstream and international recognition when she played the role of Alhaja Eniola Salami (Oba) in the 2018 Netflix series King of Boys directed by Kemi Adetiba. She reprised this role in 2021 following release of the sequel King of Boys : The Return of the King.
