After weeks of speculation on who becomes the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), it appears the decision has been made.
It is already in the public domain that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the APC, aims to choose a Muslim from the northern part of Nigeria. The governor of Borno, Professor Zulum as well as the governor of Kano State, Ganduje was rumoured to have been shortlisted for the vice presidential role.
Interestingly, the Director General of Tinubu Support Organization, honourable Aminu Suleiman has yesterday disclosed that the current governor of Kaduna State, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has been chosen to run alongside with Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Honourable Aminu Suleiman stated that the decision was reached after due consultation with the party's stakeholders.
"After due consultation with critical Stakeholders especially in the North-West, it is of the fact that El-Rufai is Asiwaju’s best choice for VP,” Suleiman said.
