Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Endorses Peter Obi

 In celebration of Labour Party's presidential aspirant, Mr Peter Obi's birthday on 19 July 2022, award-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, took to her Facebook page to pen a long heart-felt message to the presidential aspirant. In the message, Ms Adichie expressed her gratitude to Mr Obi, whom she referred to as her dearest big bro, for standing by her family in their grieving moments when she lost both her parents.

The renowned author also wrote that she couldn't wait for February 25, 2023 when with personal pride in him and with hope for what Nigeria could become, she would cast her vote for Mr Obi and his running mate, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed. Well-meaning Nigerians also took to various social media platforms to send heartwarming messages to Mr Peter Obi. A number of people baked cakes in honour of his birthday celebration.
