Burna Boy Cries As He Reveal His Unfulfilled Wish With Sound Sultan

 

Grammy Award winner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as' Burna-boy' has lamented over his unfulfilled desire for late Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi better known as Sound Sultan.

Recall that on 11th of July, 2022, Nigerians across social media platforms, especially the celebrities, reminisced the life of late singer, Sound Sultan who had more than a year ago, died of cancer of the throat.

Surprisingly, Burna Boy in his latest album titled "Love Damini" revealed that Sound Sultan's death has left him with regret over his inability to get closer to the late singer before his death. He said he procrastinated despite his urge to communicate more with him.

He added that indecision has denied him some rare opportunity which includes his inability to have a word with his late grandfather, Benson Idonije before his death. His grandfather, Benson Idonije was the manager of the iconic Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

 “I SHOULD HAVE TALKED TO GRANDADDY BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.

“I SHOULD HAVE TALKED TO SOUND SULTAN MORE BEFORE HE DIED. I SHOULD SHOW PEOPLE MORE LOVE WHILE THEY ARE STILL ALIVE.

“I SHOULD ALWAYS KNOW THE WAY MY PEOPLE FEEL INSIDE.

“I’M TRYING TO BE A BETTER MAN, I’VE BEEN TRYING, I GOT IT ALL BUT I STILL GOT MY ANGER. He said.
