Hollywood actress, Amber Heard has filed for bankruptcy, and according to that will be unable to pay the defamation fine slammed on her by court in a suit filed by Johnny Deep, her ex-husband.
Johnny Deep, a popular Holywood, who is famed for starring in the Pirates of the Carribbean film series has after a messy breakup with Amber Heard instituted a suit against her, accusing her of defaming him on social media.
The jury at the end of the proceedings, ordered Heard to pay Johnny Depp $10 million in damages as compensation for defamation, while also instructing Depp to pay Amber $2 million in damages.
The legal team of the actress has now informed the judge that Amber would not be able to pay Johnny as she doesn't have enough money to do that.
The actress has been lately involved in a court battle as she looks for alternatives to pay the $10 million. She was said to have appealed the verdict of the jury in a bid to reduce the fine fee.
