Allegedly Hired Bishops from Unknown Congregation Attend Shettima's Unveiling as APC's Vice-presidential running Mate

  Nigerians have been thrown into a mix of confusion and hilarity as unknown bishops from unknown christian denominations attend the APC's unveiling of Kashim Shettima as running mate to presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In videos circulating social media, these bishops had rather strange looks and majorly had the appearance of beggars who had been taken off the streets. This development is in light of the announcement of Kashim Shettima, a Muslim, as running mate to presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the APC. There have been vehement oppositions to the APC's choice of candidate as many termed it a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

To further fuel the suspicion of these men being fake or hired clergymen, these bishops were captured hustling seats as the programme's anchor announced that the auditorium couldn't seat all guests. Another video making the rounds also had the bishops hurrying away and declining interviews from the press and other attendees at the unveiling of APC's vice-presidential running mate.

Nigerians have declared this move by APC a charade that demeans the intelligence of citizens. They have also said that hiring unknown men to pose as clergymen reeked of desperation on the part of the party.
