The Heartbreaking Story Of A 18-Year-Old Lady Who Killed Herself After She Was Raped And Forced To Keep The Pregnancy

 

An 18-year-old teenager has committed suicide after her family members allegedly forced her not to abort a baby she conceived during a rape incident.

The bereaved cousin of the young lady while taken to Twitter to accuse her relatives of failing her cousin who was raped by a family friend, explained that her 18-year-old cousin committed suicide because her family members were forcing her to give birth to her rapist's baby.

According to her, the rapist is a family friend and lived in the family house, and after the rape incident, the family members made him leave the house but didn't involve the police.

 She further added that when it was discovered that the young lady got pregnant, they locked her up in the house, preventing her from getting an abortion.

 She later committed suicide after leaving an email explaining to family members her motive before she took her life.
